While the international fair was focused on physical security, it also covered such important topic as the increasing digitalization of security technologies, for example, IP-based video surveillance systems and access control systems controlled via mobile devices, as well as drone protection.
IT security experts from Infotecs presented their encryption solutions, which ensure communication between all these systems and end devices, in hall 7, stand 7L19. The ViPNet technology protects access control and alarm systems, IP video cameras, as well as critical and industrial infrastructures against external and internal attacks.
On September 28, Josef Waclaw, CEO of Infotecs GmbH, delivered a report on IT security in industrial automation at the security forum.
"Security Essen is an important platform where we can exhibit our solutions to international companies. Approximately 70 % of visitors to our stand were from outside Germany", says Josef Waclaw. "In addition to establishing multiple new contacts, we’ve met our partners here, like, for example, FSM Group, our Finnish distributor, and BKVideo, which specializes in video technology.“
