Military-Grade Cybersecurity Solutions by Infotecs at it-sa 2018
In early October, IT security specialists from all over the world will meet at it-sa in Nuremberg to exchange ideas about topical issues, security gaps, and brand new IT security trends. Infotecs will be presenting its ViPNet Security and Threat Intelligence Platform solutions at stand 9 210, hall 9. Unlike many competitors' products, ViPNet encryption solutions are based not on the IPSec Internet protocol, but on a military-grade symmetrical key management. With ViPNet, it is possible to establish highly secure VPN connections very flexibly and without making any changes in the existing network infrastructures. This offers a high investment protection to the companies. Such an encryption type differs from traditional VPN solutions because it performs end-to-end encryption directly. The ViPNet technology does not use a standard gateway typical for other VPN solutions that turn out to be a bottleneck. The symmetrical key technology is also resistant to future quantum computer decryption methods. They can break any asymmetrical encryption method with the computer power in a very short time.
At it-sa, Infotecs will be presenting some of its security solutions: from traditional network security and mobile security for iOS/Android tablets and smartphones, and threat intelligence to security solutions for industrial and critical infrastructures, as well as physical and IoT security. The latter also includes the protection of the drone video data transfer. At the expo stand, the IT security experts will show how live video data transfer from drones via mobile networks can be encrypted end-to-end and thus way protected against attacks of unauthorized parties and cybercriminals. This way, only the authorized personnel can view the video data recorded by a drone. Man-in-the-middle attacks, as in all other ViPNet security solutions, can be completely avoided because no keys are exchanged via the network when establishing a connection. A secure drone communication is required in the cases when Special Forces, such as police and fire departments, use drones.
it-sa is considered the world's leading IT security expo: it reached the top position among the world's events in 2017 with its 630 participants. In 2018, the event will celebrate its 10th anniversary in Nuremberg under the Home of IT Security motto. This year, another growth record is expected: around 700 national and international participants have already registered. it-sa offers a wide range of IT security products and solutions, as well as the information about today's IT security trends, in its Congress@it-sa congress program.
